The age for my audience is 15-22.
Gender: 90% male
Marital Status: Mostly Single
Employment: Mostly Students
Class: ABC1 or aspiring to be ABC1
Geographic: National magazine
Pyschographics: Main-streamers and Aspirers
Subcultures: Townies, Boy Racers, Chavs
Profile audience member:
Josh Smith is a college student he's 18, no girlfriend, enjoys partying, one night stands, drinking beer and shots, he eats at MacDonald & KFC. He wants to study sport at uni and become a PE teacher. He enjoys shopping and is keen to get the latest fashion, gadgets and games. He regularly goes to the cinema to keep up with the latest movies.

This exercise is useful to give myself a real idea of what exactly I am aiming at, if I picture myself as this person I can get a really close idea as to what I'm going to want to read. By looking at detail into my audience I can really specifically work my magazine to suit this audience. After researching my mass audience to find out what sort of things they will be into and what i need to include and cut out of my magazine. This man was based on a stereotypical idea of what my audience will be like and wont be an exact reference for me to refer too, in this case i will need to take into account the other people that may be interested in this magazine and make my articles suitable for this group as well.
